When you take on certain volunteer roles with Christian Aid, you should receive an invitation code in an email from Christian Aid enabling you to register for the Christian Aid self-service portal.
If you do not have this then please contact your supervisor and request an invitation.
Once you have the code then please follow these steps:
- Follow the link in the registration email. This will open the portal on the ‘Redeem Invitation’ sign in page with the invitation code box pre-completed.
- Click Register.
- As you do not yet have an account, do not enter email address or password. Instead, under those fields, click on Sign up now.
- On the ‘Register’ page, enter your email address and click on Send verification code.
- Check your email inbox. You should receive an email from ‘Microsoft on behalf of Christian Aid’ - this is because our portal and its security is provided through Microsoft.
- Type the verification code from that email into the Verification code field on the portal Registration page and click on Verify Code.
NB: If you didn’t get an email, check you entered your email address correctly and your email’s spam filter and click on Send new code if you need to.
- Once your email address has been verified, create a password you will remember.
- Click on Create.
- You will be taken through to our Terms and Conditions page. There is a link to our T&Cs for you to read.
- Check the box to confirm you have read and agree to the T&Cs and then click Continue.
- The portal homepage will open with your name in the top-right of the menu bar to show you are now signed in. From the homepage you will be able to navigate to other areas of the Christian Aid Volunteer portal.
To sign out at any time, click on your name and then
Sign Out.
When you next go to the Portal, simply head to
https://volunteer.christianaid.org.uk and click on
Sign In and enter your email address and password. You will not need your invitation code again.
